Committees
Committee involvement is one of the many benefits of ITE Ohio Section membership. Many Section members volunteer their time on committees to ensure the concerns of Ohio's transportation professionals are known at local, state, and national levels. Committee participation enhances your leadership and teamwork skills through the activities of the committee, and promotes interaction with respected professionals as well as younger members. Program Committee
Responsible for assisting with coordination meetings, arranging speakers, and hospitality at events.
Scholarship & Student Chapter Committee
Responsible for coordination of scholarship applications, fund raising efforts, and student chapter leadership.
Records Committee
Responsible for maintaining the section roster and assisting the Immediate Past President with recommendations for policy changes.
Communications Committee
Responsible for coordinating updates and maintenance of the section website.
Publications & Recognition Committee
Responsible for coordinating e-publications, nominating officers, and awards recognition.
External Liaison Committee
Responsible for coordination with other external organizations like ITS Midwest and OTEC, and representing ITE on legislative and uniformity concerns.
